So it begins, with a crew of four: Victor Pinheiro (captain
& peruser of the high seas) , Denis Walsh (watch captain &
tale-spinner), Reese Pacheco (deckhand & videographer) and Mia Pinheiro
(deckhand & steward extraordinaire) .
After two days of preparations and provisioning we have
released our lines from the volcanus St. John, USVI and begin our traverse to
New Bedford, MA.
We have already been invaded by a wild donkey on our trek
across the island, ousted a cheeseburger sized spider from aboard Maravilha,
met a few funny fellows claiming the cats had more welfare than the people, and
heard a slew of wild sea tales provided by Denis.
Me thinks this'll be a jolly good journey.
Stuff about conditions, wind and weather here….wind is from
ENE 11-14 kts and is forcasted to stay this way for the next few days
